The Living Water Mobile Refreshment Bar was born from a heart to serve, a love for people, and a desire to create spaces where people can pause, connect, and feel cared for. Rooted in Christ and inspired by John 4:14, we believe refreshment can be about more than what's in the cup—it can be an opportunity to extend hospitality, create connection, and share God's love.
Our Story
How It Began
I have always been drawn to hospitality—the art of making people feel welcomed, seen, valued, and cared for. My professional career has given me years of experience in operations, leadership, service, and creating experiences that bring people together. But over time, I began to realize that hospitality was more than something I was good at. It was something God had placed in me.
As my relationship with Christ deepened, so did my understanding of purpose. I began to see hospitality through a different lens—not simply as serving someone well, but as an opportunity to reflect God’s love through the way we welcome, serve, and care for people.
That desire began to take shape through something simple: Coffee, Connection & Jesus, a monthly Bible study I hosted for a small group of people who wanted to learn more about Jesus. We gathered around coffee, shared conversations, opened God’s Word, and created space for people to ask questions, grow in faith, and connect with one another. What started as a simple gathering became a beautiful reminder of how something as ordinary as a cup of coffee can create space for something extraordinary.
That experience helped me see what The Living Water could become. A cup of coffee could become a moment to pause. A refreshing lemonade could become an invitation to slow down. A mobile refreshment bar could become a gathering place—a way to create meaningful moments, build connection, and share God’s love.
My family is also a meaningful part of this story. As a mother, I want my children to see what it looks like to build something with purpose—to serve others, walk boldly in faith, create community, and use the gifts God has given us to make a difference. The Living Water is something I’m building not only for today, but with the hope of creating a legacy of faith, hospitality, and service for generations to come.
And that’s where The Living Water began.
Meet The Owner
Hi, I'm Mianka.
I'm the founder and owner of The Living Water Mobile Refreshment Bar. My professional background is rooted in operations, hospitality, leadership, and service. With more than a decade of experience in professional and operational environments, including federal contracting, I've developed a strong foundation in organization, process improvement, problem-solving, leadership, and managing complex moving parts.
But I never set out to build a mobile beverage business.
I've simply always loved creating experiences for people—and I've always believed the little details matter. Whether I'm preparing a beverage, planning an event, coordinating logistics, or creating an experience for a client, my goal is the same: to serve well, lead well, and create with intention.
The Living Water gives me the opportunity to bring those gifts together in a way that feels personal, purposeful, and aligned with my faith. It's a business built around the things I value most: serving people, creating connection, honoring God, and building something meaningful for my family and community.
